You would like to be reimbursed for PPE, prescription safety glasses, sports prescription glasses or prescription lenses. This is simple and possible under certain conditions, provided you are resident in France and registered with the French Social Security system.
If you have a valid prescription and are registered with the French Social Security system, optical reimbursement may be available for:
- an optical frame registered with the Social Security system
- prescription lenses registered with the Social Security system
If this is the case, you can request an invoice and a care sheet to submit to your French Social Security organisation as well as your French health insurance provider (mutuelle), so that you can benefit from the reimbursement provided under your policy. This request can be made when placing your order in the “Comments” section (you will need to provide your date of birth and French Social Security number), or by contacting us directly by phone on +33.2.48.02.50.85.
PLEASE NOTE: this reimbursement scheme applies exclusively to customers residing in France and affiliated with the French Social Security system. Your health insurance optical allowance can only be used once every two-year period. If reimbursement is applied, you will therefore not be able to request another refund if you have standard prescription glasses made during the following two years.
We remind you that PPE can and should be covered by your company or employer.
